Children's Miracle Network Hospitals

The diabetes program at Children's Hospitals is one of the largest in the country serving more than 2,600 children with diabetes. They provide comprehensive services for infants, children, adolescents and young adults with type I and II diabetes, cystic fibrosis-related diabetes, steroid-induced diabetes, post-pancreatectomy diabetes, and other rare forms of diabetes.  Their services include diagnostic evaluation, management of the acute complications of diabetes, long-term management and follow-up care. For the past 6 years I have been an advocate and fundriaser for CMNH with various intiatives throughtout the year. I've worked closely with the Endocrine Clinic in regards to fundraising and the the development of the Hope for Kids with Diabetes Car Tag. The Hope for Kids with Diabetes specialty car tag is regularly $50.00 with $41.25 from every purchase of the car tag directly benefitting Pediatric Endocrinology Clinic. Funds from the specialty license tag program will be dedicated to pediatric diabetes patient care, physician training and research to benefit the thousands of young fighters growing up with this disease

Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

JDRF is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. JDRF’s goal is to progressively remove the impact of T1D from people’s lives until we achieve a world without T1D. JDRF collaborates with a wide spectrum of partners and is the only organization with the scientific resources, regulatory influence, and a working plan to better treat, prevent, and eventually cure T1D. As the largest charitable supporter of T1D research, JDRF is currently sponsoring $568 million in scientific research in 17 countries. In 2012 alone, JDRF provided more than $110 million to T1D research. I am an advocate and volunteer for this organization.

American Diabetes Association

This organization leads the fight against the deadly consequences of diabetes and fight for those affected by diabetes. We fund research to prevent, cure and manage diabetes. We deliver services to hundreds of communities. We provide objective and credible information. We give voice to those denied their rights because of diabetes. I host an annual fundraiser for this organization. I am currently wellness ambassador for the DC Chapter and an Advocacy Chair of the Alabama Chapter
